Professional Appointment Setter to Join Our Sales Team

    We are looking for a Telemarketer/Appointment setter to schedule appointments with the business owners or advertising decision makers. Experience and an understanding of advertising within the Food Service Industry a plus but not necessary (will train).

    Position: Sales Support - Appointment Setter

    Summary:

    Member of our team who will support our sales department. The candidate will work to accommodate the needs and requests of the clients and sales agents. You will be driven, successful, and great at selling over the phone. Have great communication skills and are results oriented. You'd be described as being persuasive, independent when needed, assertive, sociable and convincing.

    • You'll be pushed, asked to achieve great results, and taught about consumer marketing.
    • You'll be responsible for following up leads and setting appointments for our sales team.
    • You'll keep communication flowing in the office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Flexible hours
    • 2-8 Hours per day or more (Part Time to Full Time)
    • Speak to business owners or persons responsible for advertising
    • Schedule appointments/consultations
    • Maintain spreadsheets for all projects and solicitation database
    • Provide admin support to sales team

    Requirements:

    • Perfect command of the English language
    • Second Language a Plus
    • Experience in telemarketing and working with leads a plus
    • Clear speaking voice
    • Persuasive – Confident telephone personality required
    • Persistence is a must!
    • Highly motivated and self disciplined
    • Organized and neat
    • Ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as independently
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Must be able to multi-task, keep up, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment

    Experience/Education:

    • Minimum H.S. or equivlent degree required
    • Previous administrative position a plus
    • 2 Years Customer Service experience preferred

    Compensation:

    • Base plus bonus for each appointment that results in a sale
    • Additional opportunity for direct phone sales that will result in a substantial commission
